Taws was a progressive/math rock band formed in 2013 at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, UK.

Taws did quite a lot of recording of original material in the LIPA studios.
These are 4 of the best songs Taws wrote during our time at LIPA (2013-2016). We are releasing this now to honour Stephen Fitzpatrick's broad musicianship!

The plan was always to release these songs, but time flew by and in 2018, the tracks "Behave" and "Powerhouse" were remixed and mastered...

After the sudden and tragic death of both Stephen and Audun (known as the fantastic duo Her's) we decided the songs definitely needed to be released so that people could remember Stephen for his original drumming style and songwriting skills within the prog rock genre.

We are forever grateful for all the musical moments we got to share with you, Stephen. We miss you and your endless creativity so much!
